The 11 and 13 inch necklace models have a unique safety clasp.
This clasp has been put through many tests and is provden to be the safest for babies and young children. In the event that the necklaces becomes caught or is under too much tension, the clasp will open on either side without breaking the string of beads.

The beads are strung on a metal string and covered in nylon. This change was made to ensure maximum resistance to abrasion, high resistance against nicks/cuts and scrapes, minimum water absorption, suppleness and durability. The necklaces are knotted at both ends before being attached to the safetly clasp. This is an esstential feature to the necklace because of the strings comes off the clasp, the beads will remain safely on the string.
